Bags can be colour-coded by house, year group or class for instant visual identification. Prefects and student leaders can receive distinct designs — an embroidered badge or contrast trim — creating visible status symbols. Class sets can be numbered for RFID tracking, and SEND or pastoral variations can use discreet identifiers.

The programme reframes compliance as aspiration rather than enforcement. Students want the better bag. Peer influence drives adoption, and demotion is non-confrontational — simply swap the bag back. Schools set their own thresholds (e.g. one term of sustained compliance = Silver upgrade). The Generation Faraday App's tracking data provides the evidence base for tier recommendations.
